Prensa Pintxos

📍 Location: @prensa_pintxos recently opened in Pressens Hus — a newly beautifully renovated building from 1800s, specifically for the media and journalism events and gatherings. Prensa opens at 11:00 on weekdays and at 15:00 on Saturdays, so perfect for a weekday brunch or a late Saturday brunch.

😋 Food: Pintxos is a small snack with friends or family, but the name is actually the name of the stick. That stick serves two functions, both keeping the topping in place and as a count of how many you’ve had for when it’s time to pay. We had charred salmon sashimi, confit cod, grilled Serrano pepper with Iberico ham, gazpacho soup with crispy ham, squid with a fresh salsa, “grandma’s” aubergine with cheese, and a pulled pork burger with black brioche bun. We collected quite a few sticks…
